Call Before You Dig

Planning an outdoor project? Dial 811 before you dig. It is the Tennessee One Call number, and by law, you must call before you dig. Many utility lines are buried for our safety, so before you dig, let us mark them for you.

You are responsible if your utility lines are damaged by digging, so be safe – mark your planned area with white paint and dial 811 at least 72 hours before doing any building, trenching, blasting, or digging. This one phone call will notify all local utilities to identify any underground lines, pipes, and cables buried in your yard. Digging without this information not only is dangerous but could be costly.

The number to call is 811.
